Installing Python

Python must be installed on the computer before it can run the book’s examples. The installation procedure depends on the operating system.

This book uses Anaconda Distribution, which includes Python and scientific packages—collections of reusable code. It also includes conda, a tool for installing packages and managing environments, each with its own Python installation and packages.1
